Much like Bunker, International Skeet is part of the Olympic program and was first introduced in 1968. The sport is governed globally by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), with USA Shooting being recognized as the governing body within the United States.
While the concept of International Skeet is similar to that of American Skeet, the disciplines are quite different. International Skeet features a low-gun position and variable-timing target release. Similarly to Bunker, the speed of the targets thrown in International Skeet is much faster than in American Skeet.
At the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, USA team members Vincent Hancock and Amber English took home Gold medals in the Men's and Women's Skeet events.
